(May 12, 2021) Custom manufacturer Next Level Acoustics has announced the arrival of its 2021 Fusion Frame Slim soundbar, engineered specifically to match the thinner profile found on Samsung’s 2021 The Fame TV. At only 1.25” of mounting depth, the Fusion Frame Slim affixes to a wall using Next Level’s flush mount collar system, aesthetically complimenting the exceptional visual appeal of Samsung’s flush-mount television.
While the soundbar’s visible frame sits 1.25” off a wall’s surface, some of its backside extends 0.50” deeper, requiring drywall to be cut and removed for install. The speaker is available in both two-channel “Stereo” and three-channel “LCR” configurations, with stock size options complimenting 55”, 65”, and 75” The Frame TV models. The Stereo Slim version features dual 1” Vifa tweeters and two 4.5” woofers, while the LCR version adds and an extra tweeter and woofer. Output across each of the sounder’s six models varies, with 72Hz – 20kHz performance from the 55” Stereo Slim version and 67Hz – 20kHz from the 75” LCR model. Speaker sensitivity also varies across the different versions, ranging from 87.5dB to 89dB (1 watt/1 meter).
Next Level recommends all soundbars variations be mated with an amp capable of 30-150 watts of output (4 ohm load).
The 2021 Fusion Frame Slim soundbar ships with black acoustic mesh and a black grille, though customers can request frames in White, Walnut/Brown, and Teak, as well as a custom paint match. Additional sizes are available upon request.
Pricing ranges from $1,499 to $2,999, depending on size and options. Models are shipping now.
